This is a very interesting blend of Crete’s two native grapes: The floral Vilana (65%), which also adds depth of color, and the fresh and fruity Vidiano (35%). Vidiano was virtually extinct at the end of the 20th century but has been saved by the interest of a younger and more innovative generation of winemakers. Together they create a balanced and fresh wine with lots of apple, grapefruit, pear and mineral tones.
