Andrew Rich’s Prelude is an elegant and complex Pinot Noir with a long finish that becomes a multi-dimensional experience of flavours. Black raspberry, cherry, peppery spices and a suggestion of liquorice on the nose. Silky, broad and open-knit; hints of candied flowers and cola complement plush dark berry and mocha flavours. Brilliant ruby-red. Finishes supple, with a hint of tangy berry skin, leaving notes of allspice and bitter chocolate behind.
Adelsheim Caitlin’s Reserve Chardonnay 2015: This vibrant, skillfully balanced Chardonnay shows aromas of star fruit on the nose, followed by hints of lemon curd and green fig on the palate. It would pair wonderfully with rich seafood and pasta dishes.
